(Judy will supply the paper for templates)
In this class you will be creating a quilt from drawing paper to finished quilt top. The finished size will be about 24 by 30 perfect for a wall hanging. Emphasis will be on curved piecing. First we will design the quilt on paper, tracing off the design, and cutting templates. Paper for these steps will be supplied in the class. Then we will choose the fabrics, making strata and cutting out fabrics with the pattern. You will need your sewing machine and sewing supplies for the second and third parts of the class. Finally we will be sewing the pieces together to make your own original quilt top. This class is usually taught in three sessions so we might not get to it all, but you will be well on your way to completed quilt at the end of the day.
